180 suspects held in KP

KP police in the ongoing search and strike operation against criminals and anti-social elements have arrested 180 suspects and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition. During the operation conducted in different parts of the province the police recovered 35 arms and ammunition of different kinds and 329 rounds of different bore.
Similarly, 568 houses and 268 hotels were checked and 12 cases were registered against the violators while during snap checking on 121 check points, 333 suspects were held. Furthermore in action against illegal Afghans a total of 59 persons were detained on violation and 40 cases were registered against them. Six persons were arrested on violation of the use of loudspeaker and eight loudspeakers were taken into possession. Security inspections of 1,029 educational institutions were also carried out and various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
