ISE index improves by 22.78 points

Bulls dominated the proceedings at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Monday, where equities continued to move in upward direction with positive trend at the ISE amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 22.78 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,967.29 to 3,990.07 points. The overall turnover amounted to 242,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 40,700 shares.
Total 151 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (94) closed in positive territory, 57 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume Lafrage Pakistan Cement was 180,000 shares. The volume of PIA was 61,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfield was 1,000 shares.
