KP apex committee in its 40th meeting with the Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan in the chair held at Governor House here on Thursday reviewed overall security, law and situation in the province and Fata. The meeting was also attended by KP Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak, IGP, Chief Secretary, Secretary Home, Secretary Law and Order Fata.
The Governor reviewed the implementation of National Action Plan (NAP) and directed the Fata Secretariat to start speedy rehabilitation of IDPs in Fata. The meeting strongly condemned all kind of terror incidents. The Governor said that no space or margin should be given to terrorists and militants should be rooted out from our country.
The meeting was also briefed about the pace of progress on the ongoing security measures as well as the rehabilitation arrangements in the affected areas. The meeting also discussed the future needs coupled with the available options for generating financial resources to materialise development project.
