Sindh High Court (SHC) suspended on Monday, black warrants of two death row prisoners for five days. The two men were awarded capital punishment on July 7, 1999, and were to be executed on March 5, 2015. The two convicts, Faisal and Afzal, along with another accomplice, Kashif Khan, had killed a man while committing a robbery in Korangi in 1998.
On February 23, an anti terrorism court (ATC) had issued black warrants for both Faisal and Afzal. Khan had died during the trial and the ATC had awarded the death punishment to the other two men.
