Jamaat-i-Islami Central ameer, Siraj-ul-Haq has said the defaming of Islam was top agenda and part of US and her western allies' war. He said that raids were being conducted on religious seminaries, fulfilling US agenda. He was addressing at teachers and students of religious seminary, while, while inaugurating historic and cultural exhibition at Jamia Usmia at Gulshan Umar campus on chirat road district Pabbi on Monday.
JI provincial ameer, Professor Mohamamd Ibrahim, caretaker of Jamia Usmania Mufti Ghulamur Rehman, JI district Peshawar ameer Sabir Hussain Awan, district ameer Haji Anwarul Islam, and Jamiate Ittehad-i-Ulema (JIU) provincial president Maulana Abdul Akbar Chitral also attended the function.
JI chief said that the differences between religious and Islamic organisations, was biggest hurdle than secular forces, in establishment of Islamic system. He called upon all religious parties to forge unity among them, to tackle with anti-state forces, and pre-dominated own religion in the country. He said students of religious seminaries, have better skills as compared to pupils, graduated from well-reputed universities.
Siraj-ul-Haq stressed the need for introduction of uniform education system and according to ideology of the country, adding that new generation has been divided in different curriculum. We had failed to give equal and uniform curriculum to our coming generation, he regretted. He said religious institutions have also been divided like modern education institutions, due to their division in different education boards.
JI ameer informed more than 3 million students have been enrolled in various religious seminaries. He, however, regretted the government didn't allocate funds in the fiscal budget for education of that a large number of students of religious seminaries. "If government couldn't financial assist the religious seminaries, then it should not demand for any audit of these religious institutions", JI ameer asked. He said the government was targeted religious seminaries by passage of 21st constitutional amendments. He blamed that the act was carried out due pressure by US and West. He said the government act didn't benefit from discharging religious seminaries from their supervision.
JI ameer said the religious parties have been divided into various sects and organisations. He added the begrudging and difference between religious them, along with lack of contacts, was benefited to anti-Islam and secular powers. He urged the Mufti Azam Pakistan, Mufti Taqi Usmani to together all religious parties on points in which all of these fully agreed.
Siraj-ul-Haq said that all segment would have agreement on clause of Islamic constitution and establishment of Islamic system in the country. He said the Islamic system didn't establish until religious forces, not come to power. He said the religious forces should need to prove them, to rule in the country. JI ameer also visited various installs, set up at exhibition, and appreciated the Islamic art work and models. He also rounded up class rooms at Jamia Usmania and lauded the administration for their struggle for promotion of Islamic teaching and education in the province.
