The Department of Urology, Liaqat University of Medical & Health Sciences Jamshoro arranged a Pre-Symposium workshop on "Management of Urinary Incompetence" on 3rd March 2015 at Minimal Invasive Surgical Centre LUMHS Jamshoro. While addressing the participants, the Vice Chancellor LUMHS Professor Noshad A. Shaikh expressed that the University is committed to evidence-based approach for the diagnosis and treatment of Urological problems.

Professor Shafiqueur Rehman Memon, Chairman Department of Urology LUMHS expressed that Urinary incontinence (the loss of Urinary bladder control) is a common and often embarrassing problem.
The severity ranges from occasionally leaking urine when one cough or sneeze to having an urge to urinate that's so sudden and strong one don't get to a toilet in time. There are various ways to manage incontinence or bladder problems and these will depend on the type of incontinence you have. It is important that you have a continence assessment by continence professional so that an appropriate continence management plan can be developed.
