Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on Thursday cast his vote for Senate elections. He was flanked by his Cabinet members and PML-N lawmakers. Later, briefly talking to media he said, "Holding of Senate elections is part of democratic process and the PML-N government is taking steps for strengthening democracy in the country."
About his visit to Saudi Arabia, he said, "There are strong historical, cultural and brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, and will be strengthened further after the visit of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to Saudi Arabia."
"Saudi Arabia is a true friend of Pakistan and supported Pakistan on all important issues. The leadership and people of Pakistan highly appreciate the Cupertino of Saudi Arabia," he added.
