Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that his government has taken bold decisions to curb terrorism. Addressing members of Pakistani community in Madina Munawara, he said Zarb-e-Azb operation will continue till the elimination of last terrorist. Law and Order situation in Karachi is improving due to effective measure taken by the government. He said that attempts to deteriorate law and order in the country will not be tolerated.
The Prime Minister said Pakistan is facing major challenges like economy, terrorism and energy crisis. He said foreign exchange reserves of the country have crossed eleven billion dollars in twenty months. He said transparency is ensured at all levels and all decisions are being taken on merit to ensure rule of law. Nawaz Sharif said Pakistan wants dialogue with India to resolve all outstanding issues. He expressed concern over firing incidents at the Eastern border.
He said Pakistan-Afghanistan relations have also improved. The Prime Minister said Pakistan also wants to expand its relations with Saudi Arabia in all fields. Nawaz Sharif said 2018 would be the year of elections of both National Assembly and Senate for which the government would introduce election reforms in co-operation with all parties. He said Insha Allah, 2018 elections would be free of all the anomalies witnessed in the past.
