Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has expressed concerns over appointments in the attached departments of Ministry of Interior in foreign countries in volition of merit and rules. The Interior Minister issued directives to call back on immediate basis the officers and other staff appointed in foreign countries for the last many years.
The minister issued directives to call back officials from Abu Dhabi deputed there for the last seven years. He directed National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) to submit a report to the Ministry of Interior regarding violation of rules in appointment of officials in foreign countries. He also issued directives to frame a policy to ensure appointment of officials in foreign countries on merit.-PR
