A youngster was allegedly tortured to death here in Lahore police custody. Sources said that police arrested Zubair and his mother Rasheedi Bibi over charges of stealing mobile phones. In custody they were allegedly subjected to severe torture during which Zubair's condition deteriorated and he died.
The cops also allegedly broke Rasheedi's left hand.
Zubair family alleged police threw Zubair's body outside his home. On the other hand, police officers claimed that the boy died in an accident. The family of the deceased took to the streets with his body to lodge their protest.
