KP police round up 188 suspects

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police in the ongoing search and strike operation throughout the province against criminals and anti-social elements has rounded up 188 suspects and recovered huge quantity of arms and ammunition from them. During the operation conducted in different parts of the province recovered 36 arms and ammunition of different kind and 418 rounds of different bore.
Similarly, 462 houses and 297 hotels were checked and 21 cases were registered against the violators while during snap checking on 126 check points, 257 suspects were held and 03 arms of different kind and 08 cartridges of different bore were recovered.
Furthermore, in action against illegal Afghans a total of 51 Afghans were detained on violation and 18 cases were registered against them. Security inspections of 762 educational institutions were also carried out and 5 cases were registered on poor security arrangements.
