The Federal Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Privatisation (CCoP) on Monday at the Finance Ministry for setting up the reference Price of the Heavy Electrical Complex (HEC). Chairman Privatisation Commission, M Zubair gave a detailed presentation to the Committee on the Progress so far been made on preparation of the privatisation plan for HEC.
The CCoP ratified and confirmed the decision taken by the PC Board subject to the bidding results which will be opened tomorrow with the condition that who so ever will acquire the HEC, will continue to do industrial business on the complex for a specified number of years that will be decided later by the PC Board.-PR
