All Revenue Sindh (Non-Gazetted) Employees Association (ARSEA) hinted to launch Sindh-wide protest, if their demands were not fulfilled by March 15. This was stated by Acting President ARSEA while addressing press conference held at Hyderabad Press Club (HPC) on Tuesday.
"The protest was held at main gate of shahbaz Building Hyderabad on February 17, was ended after successful dialogue with Secretary Revenue, Ghaznfar Shah and Deputy Commissioner Hyderabad, Fayaz Jatoi after their assurance to get 15-point charter of demands (CODs) fulfilled which was presented by our leadership", he said. Unfortunately, not a single point of CODs was fulfilled so far, he said adding aside from this, the management had crossed all limits where secretary of revenue was transferred and was replaced with non-cadre officer Suhail Ahmed Qureshi from agriculture department.
Moreover, non-cadre officer, Ibrahim Memon was posted as assistant secretary of the department and he was also transferred from agriculture department which was clearly violation of Supreme Court decision where it was banned on deputation. He appealed to Government of Pakistan, Supreme Court of Pakistan and Government of Sindh to accept their legal demands. If it is not done they would launch province-wide protest after March 15.
