Mohammad Siddique Memon assumed his responsibility as the new Chief Secretary of Sindh on Friday morning. On the occasion outgoing chief secretary Sajjad Saleem Hotiana handed over the charge to his successor and also introduced him to provincial secretaries pertaining to different departments besides other staff members of the secretariat.
M. Siddique Memon is the 54th Chief Secretary of Sindh, since 1936, the year when Sindh was separated from Bombay presidency and also the 38th to assume the charge since abolition of one unit in the country on July first, 1970.
