The NSR Energies and the University of Engineering and Technology Lahore signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on Friday to jointly start engineering research projects aimed at ways of reducing the energy crisis. The agreement also allows the NSR Energies to provide resources and funds for UET's research and development work of the energy sector project.
UET Centre for Energy Research and Development Director Dr Waqar Ahmed and NSR Energies Managing Director Arshad Munir Kazmi signed it on behalf of their organisations. UET Vice Chancellor Fazal Ahmed Khalid and NSR Energies Chairman Farooq Amjad Mir were also present. The UET Vice Chancellor said his students proved their abilities globally and if they got opportunities, they could play their role in the country's development and growth. In his speech, the NSR Energies chairman said searching the cheap source of energy generation was the need of hour to reduce the impact of the energy crisis.
