Bears retuned in the driving seat at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Tuesday, where losers outclassed gainers amid decrease in index. ISE Ten Index showed a decrease of 31.64 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,761.34 to 3,729.70 points. The overall turnover amounted to 6,700 shares as compared to previous volume of 19,500 shares.
Total 146 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (99) closed in negative territory, 47 closed in positive territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of K-Electric was 5,000 shares. The volume of Bank of Punjab was 1,000 shares. The volume of Adamjee Insurance was 500 shares.
