The convict Saulat Mirza has been shifted from the death cell to the prison barrack again after the postponement of his execution. The law-enforcement agencies have been allowed to meet him in the Machh Jail.
According to Superintendent Machh Jail Israr Naeem, officials will be allowed to ask any question that they would like to. He said that there will be no time limit for the inquiry. The convict has been shifted from the death cell and he will be allowed to get the written statement recorded.
The statement given in presence of the magistrate will be considered legal and would be presentable before the court of law. Family of Saulat Mirza will be allowed to meet him one more time after the postponement of his execution.
It is pertinent to mention here that Saulat Mirza was to be hanged early on Thursday morning but his execution was postponed for seventy-two hours.
