The Lahore School of Economics will host its 11th annual conference on Management of the Pakistan Economy on March 25 and 26, 2015 at its main Burki campus. The theme of the conference is "Pakistan as a regional manufacturing Hub - prospects and challenges".
Privatisation Commission of Pakistan Chairman Muhammad Zubair and former governor of State Bank of Pakistan Dr Ishrat Hussain will express their views in a two-day conference. The main objective is to promote timely debate on important policy issues of the country. The conference will arrange seven sessions to focus on a major theme for Pakistan as a regional manufacturing hub.
The conference will bring together distinguished economists, academicians and policymakers from both the national and the international spheres.
