KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh President and a candidate for NA-250 Shahi Syed said that ANP will not leave the ground and will contest the general election as the party have faced difficult times in the past and ready to face in the future.
He said this while addressing a condolence reference for Martyrs of Peshawar blast held at Bacha Khan Markaz here on Thursday.
A large number of people, besides the ANP leaders, the provincial leadership of Jamaiat Ulema e Islam, Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Pakistan Peoples Party and others also participated in the reference.
Quran-Khawani and Dua were also held for the Isal-e-Sawab of the Peshawar Martyrs.
He said that ANP is an ideological party and more than one thousand party workers have embraced martyrdom throughout the country.
Shahi Syed said that ANP will resume its election activities on Friday as the party have also announced a two-day mourning for the Peshawar blast martyrs.
He said that Bilour family have rendered a lot of sacrifices.
