Former Interior Minister Rehman Malik has on Saturday denied any links with the model Ayyan Ali. He also said that he will file defamation suits against those who alleged him of having links with the model, allegedly involved in money-laundering.
Senator Rehman Malik met Co-chairman Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House, Karachi, and discussed political situation with him. Talking to media after the meeting, Rehman Malik said that the mindset of terrorism will have to be defeated in Pakistan. He said that the PPP welcomed the forming of judicial commission for probing the rigging allegations on General Election 2013.
Denying rumours about his links with Ayyan Ali, Rehman Malik said on this occasion that he would file defamation suit if someone alleged him of having links with Ayyan.
Malik said that Karachi Operation was backed by all the political parties. He endorsed the decision of removing barriers and the No-Go Areas from all parts of Karachi.
