The Sehra Hydropower project is located on the Punch River, upstream of the confluence of the Mendla Nullah with the Punch River in the AJ&K approx. 65km from the Mangla Dam.
The Project feasibility study was carried out by Farab, Iran and approved by the Panel of Experts. The study envisages a total installed capacity of 130 MW with a design discharge of 118 cumecs and net head of 126 meters.
The successful completion of this Project will add 732 GWh of clean energy to the National Grid every year.
