The city police Wednesday registered a case against former health minister Makhdoom Shahabuddin and his servants on the allegations of threatening and harassing a woman. A police official said that police registered a First Information Report (FIR) No 109 including section 25/D of the Telegraph Act and 506 of Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against Makhdoom and his servants on the complaint of Zahida Sami, a resident of Palgrah.
The official while quoting the statement of the woman said, she alleged that the former minister has earlier sexually harassed her and now his servants are threatening her of dire consequences through phone calls.
