Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad has rejected the reports regarding his resignation as baseless. Talking to media persons here on Friday, Dr Ishratul Ibad said that there had been no meeting chaired by Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif where he was not invited.
"In my opinion no such meeting took place in fact the chief minister clarified the fact on Thursday," he added.
To a question why he did not attend the meeting chaired by PM Ibad said, "There are law and order meetings which have a specific format. Attendance of certain individuals is mandatory...but this meeting was not according to that format. I was also watching the speculative stories on the media."
