As many as 70 Pakistani exporters are participating in Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF-2015) in Hong Kong to take maximum advantages by getting share of the Chinese markets to expand the trade volume with China/Hong Kong.
TDAP Chief Executive S.M Muneer and Pakistani Consul General, Hong Kong Ghufran Memon jointly inaugurated the Pak pavilion while Pakistan Tanners Association (PTA) Chairman and former Chairman Muhammad Musaddiq and Agha Saiddain also attended the event.
The exporters participating in the show deal in producing of finished leather of cow, buffalo, sheep skins, leather garments, leather footwear, leather gloves and leather products/made-ups. An attractive pavilion was arranged with the help of Consulate General of Pakistan to become an extensive gate-way for the Pakistani exporters so as enable them to yield sizeable business during the Show for promoting the country's exports and the leather sector of Pakistan as well.
Before participation, an extensive marketing and dissemination has already been thru the Consulate General of Pakistan, Hong Kong amongst the Chinese/Hong Kong buyers/customers/visitors to visit the Pakistan Pavilion in APLF'2015, Hong Kong for business tie up/collaboration.
According to the PTA Chairman Muhammad Musaddiq the share of Pakistan's exports of leather has already been increased by 29.34 percent in Hong Kong with the help of Consulate General of Pakistan in Hong Kong for the period of July-June 2012-2013 as compared to corresponding period of previous year.
While speaking on the occasion, TDAP Chief Executive and Consul General of Pakistan assured maximum support to the Pakistani businessmen during the fair in Hong Kong with a view to make the participation more result oriented.-PR
