Hayatabad Industrial Estate: KP government asked to take steps for up-gradation
The newly elected president of Hayatabad Industrial Estate Ghazanfar Bilour asked the provincial government to take steps for up-gradation and restoration of the industrial estate, and said that a comprehensive strategy would be outlined for amicable resolution of problems, being faced by industrialists.
He was addressing at Annual General Body Meeting (AGM) of the Hayatabad Industrial Estate Peshawar, held at Libra Pharmaceutical private limited here on Tuesday. He said the decisions would be made with mutual consultation of industrialists. He vowed that he would make efforts for up-gradation and restoration of infrastructure at the industrial estate.
The meeting was attended by president of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KPCCI) Faud Ishaq, former presidents Riaz Arshad, Malik Niaz Ahmad, Hayatabad Industrial Estate Association (HIEA) senior vice president Umar Khan Zakori, association office bearers, KPCCI chamber former presidents, executive members and others.
Bilour thanked the industrialists for posing confidence over him and elected as president of Hayatabad Industrial Estate. He vowed that they will take all possible steps for amicable resolution of issues of industrialists. He said the up-gradation and restoration infrastructure along with re-addressal of related issues at industrial estate will be top priority.
For this purpose, he added he will soon hold a meeting with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Secretary Industries and Chairman Sarhad Development Authority (SDA), besides other relevant officers and heads to take up issues of industrialists with them. He lauded the former president of Hayatabad Industrial Estate (HIE) Malik Niaz Ahmad for his untiring efforts in resolution of industrialist problems.
The meeting was also addressed by KPCCI president Faud Ishaq, former president Riaz Arshad, Malik Niaz Ahmad, and HIEA newly-elect senior vice president Umar Khan Zakori and highlighted the issues and problems, being faced by industrialists at the Hayatabad Industrial Estate.
