Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leader Hyder Abbas Rizvi has said that PTI leader Imran Ismail and his supporters tore down the party's banners and posters of Altaf Hussain during their visit to Jinnah Ground located near the MQM Headquarters Nine-Zero, Azizabad on Tuesday. Addressing a press conference at Jinnah Ground Nine Zero on Tuesday, Rizvi said his party strongly denounced the provocation of the PTI in Azizabad, which is a stronghold of the MQM.
"We have no threat from any party on this seat," Rizvi said, adding that his party had been winning this constituency for 30 years. Rizvi said that Kanwar Naveed would win the by-election with a big lead. He, however, said that it was the right of all political parties to take part in the election.
"Elections should be held in a cordial atmosphere," he stated. The MQM leader suggested that Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) summon all candidates and devise a code of conduct. The PTI, he said, could not win the hearts of people with its undemocratic mindset.
