AIG Sindh Ghulam Qadir Thebo on Tuesday suspended the Station House Officer (SHO) of Azizabad following a clash between workers of PTI and MQM on Tuesday. An official at Azizabad police station confirmed that AIG Sindh Ghulam Qadir Thebo had suspended SHO Asim-ur-Rehman for his failure to prevent the incident.
PTI leader and a candidate from NA-246 bye-polls, Imran Ismail came under attack by alleged MQM supporters as he visited Jinnah Ground to make arrangements for his party's upcoming rally. The workers of both political parties started chanting slogans against each other. In the meantime, some enraged MQM activists kicked the vehicle of Imran Ismail and smashed the lights and windscreens of the car.
