Shakeel Burney, the elder brother of senior banker, Kafeel Burney, was laid to rest at Hassan Square Graveyard, here on Friday. His funeral prayer was offered at Khatri Masjid, Pir Ilahi Bux Colony (PIB), after Namaz-e-Jumma. His Soyam will be held at Khatri Masjid between Aser and Maghrib on Saturday.
Vice President FPCCI Zubair Tufail, Yahyah Polani, Majeed Aziz, Ilyas Kushtiwala Akbar Abdullah, Abdul Latif, H M Shahzad, Nisar Memon and large number of people from different walks of life attended the funeral prayer.
