Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab was down byRs 125 to Rs 12375 and Moong Afghan followed same pattern, losing Rs 65 to Rs 12935, other commodities held the overnight levels due to balanced demand and supply, they said.
On the seeds side Mirpurlane new posted fresh gain of Rs 50 to Rs 1825 and Rs 1850, rapeseeds cake also gained Rs 75 to Rs 1025 and Rs 1050, cottonseeds oilcake with bag was up by Rs 50 to Rs 1600 and Rs 1650, they said. Prices were inert on the grams and rice sectors, they said.
