At least 50 illegal marriage halls have been demolished until now, as an operation is under way in Karachi to remove the encroachments and illicit marriage halls under the supervision of Sindh Minister for Information and Local Government Sharjeel Inam Memon.
While talking to the media, Sharjeel Memon assured them of making Karachi free from the land mafia, and stated that the administration as per orders had bulldozed marriage halls in the areas of Korangi, Landhi and Gulshan North Nazimabad.
Sindh Minister further ordered to initiate investigation against the corrupt officials.
