KP police round up 177 suspects under NAP

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police rounded up 177 suspects and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunitions in the ongoing search and strike operation conducted under National Action Plan (NAP) throughout the province. During the operation conducted in different parts of the province, police recovered 45 arms and ammunition of different kind and 1953 rounds of different bore while 437 houses and 269 hotels were also checked and 11 cases were registered against the violators. Similarly, during snap checking on 169 check points, 328 suspects were held and recovered 18 arms of different kind and 585 cartridges of different bore while in action against illegal Afghans a total of 59 persons were detained on violation and 34 cases were registered against them. Similarly, 1 person war arrested on violation of illegal use of loudspeaker and 1 loudspeaker was taken into possession while 03 cases were registered against the violator. Similarly 4 hate martial were seized and 2 cases registered against 2 persons.
Security inspections of 725 educational institutions were also carried out and various institutions were advised to further beef up security arrangements.
