A three-day Punjab Industrial Expo 2015 ended at the Expo Centre that showcased the province's industrial potential, with up to 150 exhibitors putting up their stalls and displaying over 500 products including food, engineering, electronic, daily use items. Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company Chairman S. M. Tanveer was happy with the show, saying the splendid success of the Punjab Industrial Expo 2014, this year's show was even bigger both in terms of the crowd turnout and the companies' participation.
He also met companies' representatives with delegates from leading industrial groups and then said the Expo 2015 would help accelerate the industrial activity in the province.
The company-led Expo primarily focused on the potential of the Punjab's industrial base showing the Punjab government's determination to ensure growth of its industrial economy. Some national and multinational companies in various categories including FMCGs, automotive, pharmaceuticals and electronics were part of this exhibition, with over 100,000 visitors trooping to the Expo.
