Pakistan International Airline (PIA) is operating special flight PK-3062 Karachi-Lahore-Islamabad for 150 Pakistanis, who returned from Yemen via a Pakistan Navy ship PNS Aslat on Tuesday. According to details, 182 stranded persons including 146 Pakistanis, 11 Indians and 25 other foreigners were brought to Pakistan from Yemen by Pakistan Navy's warship PNS Aslat on Tuesday afternoon.
Meanwhile, PIA spokesman Hanif Rana said that the national flag carrier was operating a special flight PK-3062 Karachi-Lahore-Islamabad for these 150 Pakistanis. He said that out of total 150 Pakistanis, 133 of them were from Lahore while the other 17 Pakistanis were from Islamabad.
He said that PIA had so far operated three special flights and brought 503, 176 and 140 stranded Pakistanis from Djibouti, Aden and SANA.
He added that PIA was ready to operate more such flights in case of any emergency.
