KARACHI: DuPont, one of the leading science powered innovative companies, collaborated with Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) to provide one year of healthy lunch meals to the Deaf Reach School Primary Campus in Hyderabad, Pakistan.
Deaf Reach Schools and Training Centers, operational in 6 locations, are a project of Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF) - a non-profit educational organization working in Pakistan since 1984.
The ceremony centered on Health and Safety and an introduction by DuPont to over 130 Deaf Reach School students and faculty.
DuPont also shared valuable tips to promote personal hygiene and food safety among children. The deaf students then presented a moving performance on overcoming life’s challenges entitled “Deaf people can do anything…except hear!” After providing a nice lunch for all the children and staff.
With a focus on pioneering innovation in food science and unlocking solutions to help end hunger, the DuPont Community Fund Program aims to improve nutrition and quality of life for these less privileged deaf students and to improve academic progress through improved health.
