A robber was killed while three alleged target killers were arrested by police in two encounters, here on Friday. According to police sources, the first encounter took place near Defense More. In exchange of fire, a robber was killed while his accomplice was arrested in injured condition. The body and injured were moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
In another incident, three alleged target killers were arrested with recovery of arms from their possession. Police said that on a tip-off a team of police conducted raid in the jurisdictions of Khawaja Ajmer Nagri police station. During the raid, three target killers stated to be members of a political party were arrested.
A snatched motorcycle and arms were also recovered from their possession. Police registered separate cases in both the incidents and started the investigations.
