The Citizens Police Liaison Committee (CPLC) has claimed to have arrested two extortionists in Karachi on Friday. It recovered pistols and bullets from their possession. A CPLC spokesman said that a joint raid was conducted by the CPLC and the Special Investigation Unit of CID in Soldier Bazaar area. The under arrest criminals were involved in collecting extortion money from various laboratories, schools, companies and markets in the city. They have been identified as Syed Amir Hussain and Nisar Ali.
An FIR (No 93/2015) has been registered in the Soldier Bazaar police station, the CPLC spokesman added.
