After the successful evacuation of 51 stranded Pakistani and foreign nationals from Yemen and their safe disembarkation at Djibouti, Pakistan Navy's ship Shamsheer has again arrived the Hodeidah Port, Yemen, on Monday for evacuating 08 more stranded Pakistanis and 04 Yemeni nationals.
The PN ship will disembark Pakistani evacuees at Gizan in Saudi Arabia.
All necessary arrangements have been made at the Gizan Port for reception and completion of immigration formalities for all the evacuees by the Embassy of Pakistan in Saudi Arabia.
The Pakistan Navy, while remaining cognizant of the developing situation in Yemen, had swiftly mobilized its resources by sailing PNS Aslat and PNS Shamsheer since 29 March, 2015, for the Red Sea/the Gulf of Aden for safe evacuation of stranded Pakistanis in Yemen.
Earlier, Pakistan Navy Ship Aslat also evacuated 182 Pakistani and foreign nationals stranded at Al Mukalla in Yemen, which were safely disembarked at the Karachi Port on 07 April, 2015.-PR
