Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police rounded up 594 suspects and recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition in the ongoing search and strike operation conducted under National Action Plan (NAP) across the province. During the operation conducted in different parts of the province, the police have recovered 50 arms and ammunition of different kinds and 436 round of different bore while 628 houses and 291 hotels were also checked and 8 cases registered against the violators.
Similarly, 390 suspects were held and 15 arms of different kind and 405 cartridges of different bore were also seized during snap checking at 155 check points.
Furthermore total 59 people were detained and 29 cases registered against them in action against illegal Afghans while 3 persons were arrested for misusing load speaker and 3 load speakers were seized and 3 cases were registered against the violators.
Security inspections of 772 educational institutions were also carried out and various institutions were advised to beef up security.
