US Consular officer Aaron Tennessee Carlton visited the Solar Hybrid Water Desalination plant at Misri Shah recently. He was accompanied by Vice Consular Shankar Rao and Pak Oasis representatives.
He was briefed that to meet the water requirement of large towns like Mithi, Nagarparkar and Islamkot, Pak Oasis came up with the solution to put a large sized RO plant with a capacity to produce 2 million gallons of water per day in Misri Shah, Mithi and 1.5 million gallon per day in Islamkot. The solar RO plant at Misri Shah is Asia's largest Solar Hybrid 1 Mega Watt Water Desalination plant with the capacity to produce 2 million gallon of purified water per day.
Aaron expressed his appreciation over this venture undertaken by Pak Oasis and Sindh Government to provide clean drinking water to the locals of the area.-PR
