Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mahtab Ahmad Khan has said that the lawyer community can play a vital role and it is his desire to facilitate them in their activities. He stated this while talking to a 10-member delegation of the executive body of District Bar Association Abbottabad which called on him at the Governor House, Peshawar here on Thursday. The delegation was led by the Bar President Asad Tanveer Qureshi. Vice President Saedur Rahman and Jamal Shah Mehsood were also present on the occasion.
The governor greatly commended the services of the Abbottabad Bar and assured them that he would make efforts to materialise construction of the bar building. He said he would also contact the federal government in this regard and would extend all his support to the bar members in the provision of facilities. The Governor directed the officers concerned to extend full co-ordination to the lawyers of Abbottabad in the bar building project.
