Akira Ouchi, the Consul General of Japan in Karachi, delivered a lecture on "Bilateral Relations between Japan and Pakistan" to the students and faculty members of NED University of Engineering and Technology recently. Around 150 students from various faculties, including faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture, faculty of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering, faculty of Information Sciences and Humanities attended the lecture.
The audience keenly listened to the Consul General Ouchi's lecture and a lively question and answer session ensued, in which audiences' interests were mainly related to Japan and Pakistan's bilateral relations, state-of-the art Japanese technology and some information in regard to studying in Japan.
Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Muhammad Afzal Haque expressed his sincere gratitude to the Consul General of Japan Ouchi for delivering very informative lecture in which students and faculty members of NED University of Engineering and Technology were able to gain insightful and comprehensive knowledge in regard to bilateral relations between Japan and Pakistan.-PR
