Renowned industrialist and Senior Vice President, Pakistan Afghanistan Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PAJCCI), and former president, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KPCCI), Zahidullah Shinwari has been made chairman Pakistan Hunting and Sporting Arms Development Company (PHSADC).
The decision was taken during the first meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the company held here on Saturday. The Industries Department has also notified Zahidullah Shinwari as chairman of PHSADC for the period of three years.
Addressing the meeting of the Board of Directors (BoD), Zahidullah Shinwari thanked members for electing him as chairman of the company and pledged to initiate special initiatives for entrepreneurs. During these programmes, the entrepreneurs will be imparted training regarding hunting and sporting arms and those investing in the sectors will be extended all kind of facilities.
He also expressed his resolve for taking effective measures for the promotion of hunting and sporting arms manufacturing sector of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He said that the platform of the company will be utilised for attracting new investment and creation of new employment opportunities in the province.
