JUI-F Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued 2000 party tickets for the upcoming local bodies' polls scheduled on May 30. The tickets have been issued in line with electoral alliance of Tri-partite Alliance. The general secretary JUI-F, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk has said that the party has completed preparations in matters related to local bodies' polls and for this purpose the members of provincial executive council from all districts have been tasked.
He said that the party has issued 2000 tickets for district and tehsil councils in the province and the party office bearers have been directed to issue tickets joint candidate in line with electoral agreement of Tri-Partite Alliance. He said that priority list for reserved seats in districts will be submitted with the concerned Returning Officers (ROs).
He said that the general council meeting of the party scheduled on April 27, 2015 will take crucial decisions regarding local bodies' polls and organisational matters.
Meanwhile, provincial chief, JUI-KP Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan has predicted historic victory in the local bodies' polls. He said that members of the provincial council will supervise local bodies' polls in all four zones of the province.
In this connection, Maulana Gul Naseeb Khan addressed party office bearers of Malakand and Hazara Division while Maulana Shuja-ul-Mulk and Abdul Jalil Jan addressed party office bearers of central and southern districts.
They predicted that JUI-F will emerge victorious in majority of the districts across the province and urged the party office bearers and works for utilising their energies for the success of the maximum number of councillors in district, tehsil, town, neighbourhood and village councils.
They said that public mandate of the people was forcibly snatched in 2013 elections and under plan hatched by West, specific class of people were imposed on the province. The inexperienced politicians they said played havoc with the economy of the province and were hopeful that the people will not repeat the mistake of 2013.
