At least three policemen, including a DSP, were killed when some unidentified armed men opened fire on their vehicle in Gulshan-e-Hadeed area of the city, here on Friday. According to police, DSP Fateh Muhammad Sangi was on the way to office with his driver, Nazir and guard, Head Constable Muhammad Farooq, when the gunmen, riding a motorcycle, opened fire on the vehicle they were travelling in, severely injuring them. Police and emergency teams reached the spot and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital where they succumbed to their injuries.
