Ali Zafar’s ‘Teefa in Trouble’ releases across Pakistan
Ali Zafar’s much awaited movie ‘Teefa in Trouble’ has released across the country on Friday and a day before the release, the film had its star studded premiere in Nueplex, Karachi.
Speaking to the media, musician and actor Ali Zafar said that he is extremely excited for the film. “I cannot explain my excitement in words, you guys made it a hit even before release,” the actor said. “This is the first time a Pakistani film will be released in 25 countries, of which 10 to 15 countries will see a Pakistani film’s screening for the first time,” he added.
Director Ahsan Rahim, producer and actor Ali Zafar, actors Maya Ali, Javed Sheikh, Mehmood Aslam, Sofia Khan, Faisal Qureshi, Mah Noor, Isma Abbas, Nayyar Ejaz, Seemi Raheel and others attended the movie premiere.
Actress Maya, who is making her film debut with this movie, was seen nervous upon its release. "Nervousness is at its peak but fingers crossed," said Maya Ali.
‘Teefa in Trouble’ is reportedly the most expensive film to have been made in Pakistan, costing nearly Rs2.3 billion. It took around two years to complete the filming of the movie.
As per the early reviews, the movie has come up as a breath of fresh air for the Pakistani entertainment industry.
