Moderate quake jolts Swat, adjoining areas

A 4.7 magnitude earthquake on Saturday jolted Swat, Mingora and adjoining areas on Saturday. However, no damages to buildings reported. An earthquake was hit Swat and surrounding areas. The magnitude of the earthquake recorded 4.7 on the Richter scale. According to US Geological Survey, the earthquake struck 71 kilometres deep near the Pak-Afghan Tajikistan border. No damages to building reported. The region is facing aftershocks of the Nepal quake that hit the country at least six days ago.
Areas in Nepal, India, Pakistan and Bangladesh have been facing aftershocks following the deadly tremor measuring 7.9 magnitude struck Nepal last week.
