Post Graduate Medical Institute (PGMI) and Lahore General Hospital (LGH) Principal Professor Anjum Habib Vohra has said on Saturday that on the direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, all the treatment and diagnostic facilities about dengue have been made available 24 hours in government hospitals. He stressed upon the medical professionals to convert dengue awareness message into a massive campaign to wipe out this menace. He also appealed to the masses to always approach recognised doctors and hospitals and not quacks in case of dengue fever or other medical complications.
Professor Vohra said that dengue treatment facilities have been ensured at the dengue counters established at emergency ward round the clock while doctors, nurses and other staff also remain present from 8 am to 8 pm in the outdoor ward.
