Civil court in Lahore has issued arrest warrants of former Director General (DG) Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Umer Rasool including eight officers and one sub-inspector in contempt of court case. According to details, the hearing was headed by civil judge Shehzad Aslam in which the petitioner Mubeen Aeshi stated that LDA officers' are not giving the ownership of the allotted plot to her.
She also said that the LDA officers' are complying with contempt of court and are not following the notices as civil court has also issued a degree in her favour. The court after hearing the arguments issued arrest warrants of eight people which include former DG LDA, six other officers' and sub-inspector of Johar Town police station and has ordered to present them before the court on May 8.
