Integral Development Corp, a technology provider for the foreign exchange market, said on Wednesday it has launched a new currency trading platform called Open Currency Exchange or OCX. The new exchange combines liquidity from all major sources - disclosed bilateral relationships, over one hundred electronic market makers, and a central limit order book - in a single execution venue.
OCX is open to all market participants on an unlimited basis at a monthly cost of $275 per desktop. There are no other fees, Harpal Sandhu, Integral chief executive officer said in an interview. "We have been building the over the counter side of the market for a long time. So we have been running bespoke exchanges on behalf of our customers," Sandhu said. "We are now pulling that all together and including an order book, organizing it in such a way that is accessible to everyone."
