KARACHI: It is no surprise that England captain Andrew Strauss is under huge pressure after their defeat by Pakistan in the first Test at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Talking to the media the England skipper said “We should use our defeat as a motivation tool to bounce back in the three-match Test series.”
The England captain believes that, “Batting failure in the first inning and a flat pitch, took the game away from their reach.”
“What we need to do is to make sure that we should not play this type of cricket in the next match,” he added.
“I’m not surprised by Pakistan’s performance they have been playing good cricket for the last 12 months,” appreciated Strauss.
“I’m certainly determined to come back in Abu Dhabi and I’m sure the rest of the guys are too, and added, “Pakistan thoroughly deserved the victory.”
